Who I am

I’m someone who likes hard problems and the clarity that comes from solving them. I’m decisive, I move things forward, and I value continuous progress over perfect plans. I gravitate toward environments that call for unconventional problem solving, critical thinking, and turning complexity into something teams can actually execute. I also like being part of something bigger, contributing to the success of a team and building systems where people can do their best work. That drive has carried me through submarines, manufacturing, and product development.

My Path In Brief

I began my career in the Navy, where I learned to be decisive, work under pressure, and stay comfortable in ambiguity. It was also where I found my voice, stepped naturally into leadership roles, and built the personal foundation I still draw from today. I left the military after the birth of my son so I could be present in his life. Taking the risk of starting over without knowing exactly where it would lead.

That path brought me to Leatherman, where I started on the production floor as a junior machine operator. Manufacturing and CNC work were new to me, but I picked them up quickly and moved into supervisory and management roles within my first year. From there, I transitioned into the commercial side of the business as a Marketing Project Manager and helped establish Leatherman’s first dedicated project management function.

My responsibilities expanded again when I joined the Product team, supporting and helping launch hundreds of SKUs and initiatives across the portfolio. Eventually, I was asked by the CEO to oversee the creation of a new manufacturing facility and product line, the most complex and demanding work of my career. It sharpened my ability to build systems, lead teams through uncertainty, and deliver results with limited resources and high expectations.

How I lead

Decisive

Make decisions quickly so teams stay in motion. Remove ambiguity and keep work moving forward. Anchor in the outcome and goals.

Structured

Turn complex problems into clear, actionable plans. Breaking large ambiguous tasks into distilled obtainable parts.

People-Focused

Create environments where people feel empowered to take ownership, grow, and do their best work. Hold myself and others accountable with direct honest communication.

What’s Next?

Where I create value

I create the most value in roles that sit at the intersection of multiple parts of the business. I’ve worked across commercial, operations, marketing, and product, and partnered closely with finance, which gives me a clear understanding of how decisions in one area affect the others. I synthesize a wide range of inputs, recognize patterns, and make decisions that move the whole system forward, not just one function. I lead with judgment, calculated risk-taking, and an ability to translate complexity into coordinated action.

What I’m looking for

I’m looking for a role that allows me to lead large, cross-functional efforts across operations, program management, and product. I’m drawn to environments that need someone who can guide teams through complexity, make high-impact decisions, and support the broader mission of the business. Phoenix and Portland are my preferred locations, and I’m seeking opportunities with meaningful responsibility and room to lead.
